The electrically conductive part (B) of the mobile telephone chassis, and at least an electrically conductive part (A) lowerable from the mobile telephone, are electrically connected with one another. When the two parts are in the lowered position, which corresponds to the transmission position, they approximate to a formed earth plane which screens the radiation from the terminal aerial (C). The approximated earth plane is roughly at right-angles to the terminal aerial. The radiation protection can adopt a rest position in which the lowerable part (A) locates against the mobile telephone apparatus box, and in which the two parts (A,B) are arranged centrally to one another and on opposite sides of the box. The lowerable part (A) comprises a cover. The aerial (C) is directed parallel to the mobile telephone longitudinal direction, in a rest position. In a transmitting position it is turned to be directed approximately at right-angles to the approximated earth plane. |
