PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate life even when load is fluctuated by providing means for measuring working conditions of each part composition a device, means for obtaining life prediction reference values by assigning the previously set weights to the measured values, and means for predicting the lives of the parts based on the reference values. SOLUTION: A speed control part 22 integrates a deviation between a speed command S* and a detected speed S according to the operation conditions of an elevator and calculates a current command I*. A life predicting part 25 receives commands, the detected values of the detectors and a timer value (t) from a timer 27 to calculate an equivalent amount corresponding to accumulated load or working hours or working frequencies of each part. To be more specific, a value which is obtained by multiplying the current command I* or a detected current I by a logarithmic function corresponding to a life characteristic is calculated by working hours to make a life prediction reference value. The predetermined life value of each part is compared with the reference value to judge a life of the part, whereby the life of the part can be predicted with accuracy even when the load of the part is varied. |
