PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counter count-operating at a high speed. SOLUTION: The circuit of a first (second to fourth) circuit 5 (6 to 8), in which data circulate, is constituted of the loop of a latch circuit 1a (1b to 1d), a shift circuit 3a (3b to 3d) and a latch circuit 2a (2b to 2d). A clock P1 is inputted to the latch circuit 1a, 1b, 2c and 2d and a clock P2 is inputted to 2a, 2b, 1c and 1d. A carry signal 11 is inputted to the shift circuit 3a, a carry signal 12 is inputted to the shift circuit 3b and a carry signal 13 is inputted to a latch circuit 4. A carry signal 113 is inputted to the shift circuit 3c and a carry signal 114 is inputted to the shift circuit 3d. |
