PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adverse effect to the operation of an engine by preventing oil and water from being accumulated in a surge tank and an intake pipe. SOLUTION: In an intake device 21, the longitudinal length 1 of a surge tank 22 is set shorter than the length L from an intake port 31 on the topmost part of an engine 10 to an intake port 34 on the lowermost part, the fixing position of the surge tank 22 is so set that respective intake pipes 23 to 26 may be inclined diagonally down toward intake ports 31 to 34, and the bottom surface 22a of the surge tank 22 is diagonally formed so that the bottom surface 22a of the surge tank 22 may be continued to the lower tangent 26a of the intake pipe 26 on the downmost part. The inner arc is formed on corner part 22b surrounding the bottom surface 22a of the surge tank 22, and the height of the bottom surface 22a of the surge tank 22 is set higher than the upper edge 34a of the intake port 34 on the downmost part. |
