PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain superior performance, such as excellent hues and fastness to light and heat and low dependence on processing conditions by incorporating at least one kind of specified coupler in at least one layer on a support. SOLUTION: The color photographic sensitive material contains in one layer on the support at least one kind of coupler represented by the formula in which EWG is an electron withdrawing group having a Hammett's substituent constantσp of 0.2-1.0, X is a heterocyclic or substituted amino or aryl group, R is a substituent, Y is an H atom or a substituent, Z is a nonmetallic atom group required to form an N-containing heteroring, the ring formed by Z may be an aromatic heteroring, preferably, 0.3-0.8, especially, embodies by a cyano and fluoroalkyl group and most desirably a cyano group.
