<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily make a mercury flow-out preventing treatment possible at a home in the disposal of a discharge lamp as represented by a fluorescent lamp. SOLUTION: A discharge lamp has at least mercury sealed in a tube as a discharge medium, and an arc tube having a part capable of inserting an injection needle for supplying a mercury neutralizer in a tube wall. More concretely, the arc tube 1 in which at least mercury is sealed as the discharge medium, discharge electrodes 4 for generating discharge inside the arc tube 1, and the sealing region of an exhaust tube 9 of the arc tube 1 are closely covered with an elastic body layer, and the mercury neutralizer supply injection needle can be inserted into the sealing part of the exhaust tube 9 through the elastic body layer.</p> |
