PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture the stereoscopic television receiver at a low cost by using an existing VTR for High Vision. SOLUTION: A High Vision use VTR 20 that is able to conduct recording/ reproduction in full motion up to a High Vision size (1920×1024) and to conduct recording and reproduction at the quadruple speed for an NTSC size (640×480) with mode changeover provision is used, a right parallax image is given from one input terminal A 22 and a left parallax image is given from the other input terminal B 24 and a synchronizing signal denoting the right parallax image and the left parallax image is recorded on a video tape 30 by field recording for each 1/240sec together with the left/right parallax image. |
