PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the energy and improve the effect of dust-proofing by efficiently operating a fan while maintaining a temperature which is not problematic as regards the reliability relative to the contact glass. SOLUTION: Since a temperature detecting sensor 53 is mounted on the outside wall of a reflecting plate 52 in the vicinity of the mounting part of a thermal protector 54, under any copying condition such as copying magnification for example, the temperature correlation between the mounting part of the thermal protector 54 and that of temperature detecting sensor 53 is almost the same so that it is possible to control a cooling fan 57 to be driven as minimum as possible while maintaining a temperature which is not problematic as regards the reliability relative to a contact glass 65. |
