PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte composition by which the charge and discharging characteristics of a lithium battery can be improved by a simple method. SOLUTION: In solution which is prepared by dissolving lithium salt in aprotic organic solvent, a high molecular component containing an ester group or an ether group is dissolved so as to obtain an electrolyte composition for a lithium battery. LiAsF6 is desirable as the lithium salt, and its concentration of 0.01 to 5mol/litter is desirable. Polyalkylene oxide, and polyalkyl (meta)acrylate are the examples of the high molecular components, weight average molecular weight exceeding 5000 is desirable, and a dissolving amount of 0.01 to 5 percentage by weight is desirable. |
