METHOD FOR MANAGING NETWORK FLOW RATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely extract only a part related to the local operation of a network and to improve the calculation efficiency of a flow rate by predicting the change of the flow rate only on a sub-block affected by the change of the flow rate by means of following a sub-tree the upstream side from a start node which is directly related to the network operation. SOLUTION: The network is divided into plural sub-trees #1-#5, and a relation among co-trees 191-196 which form the branch relation of the sub-trees and a loop and the sub trees #1-#5 is grasped. The tree follows the upstream side from the start node 043 which is directly related the network operation and it reaches 011 at last. On the other hand, the tree follows the upstream from a start node 052 and join at 042. Thus, a sub-block 301 on the downstream side is extracted and it is decided as the sub-block affected buy the change of the flow rate accompanied by the network operation. Then, the change of the flow rate on the sub-block 301 is predicted. Thus, the part affected by the network operation can be restricted.
