PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibration gyro in which change of characteristic due to temperature and influence of excessive impact are removed so as to have stable characteristic by making the direction of drawing out input/ output lead wires substantially perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of a piezoelectric vibrator. SOLUTION: A supporting tool 6 is an annular body made of insulating rubber-like elastic material, and it is fitted in and joined with the through hole 9 of a holder 8 having the same diameter as the outer diameter of the supporting tool 6. Lead wires 3 for input/output are fixed at solder points 4 on the modal point line 5 of bending vibration of a columnar piezoelectric vibrator 1, and drawn out at right angles with the lengthwise direction of the vibrator 1. Next the vibrator 1 is inserted into the through hole 7 of the supporting tool 6, the vicinity of the model point line 5 of bending vibration of the vibrator 1 is supported with the edge part of the through hole 7, and silicone rubber is poured in the contact part of the supporting tool 6 with the vibrator 1, so as to join together them. The lead wires 3 connected to electrodes for driving and detection are soldered to metallic terminal bars 10. |
