PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biodegradable porous film which generates a small amt. of heat of combustion and has an improved biodegradability by forming a resin compsn. contg. an aliph. polyester and a filler into a film or sheet and stretching it. SOLUTION: 100 pts.wt. aliph. polyester comprising 0.02-30mol% aliph. hydroxycarboxylic acid units represented by formula I (wherein p is 0-10), 35-49.99mol% aliph. diol units represented by formula II (wherein m is 2-10), and 35-49.99mol% aliph. dicarboxylic acid units represented by formula III (wherein n is 0-12) and having an MFR (190 deg.C) of 0.01-50g/10min, an m.p. of 70-180 deg.C, and a number average mol.wt. of 10,000-200,000 is compounded with 20-400 pts.wt. filler having an average particle size of 30μm or lower. The resultant compsn. is formed into a film or sheet and stretched at least monoaxially by a factor of 1.5-8 at a temp. in the range of from a temp. 100 deg.C lower than the m.p. of the polyester to the m.p. |
