PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail system in which duplicate registration of a received mail to a database or the like is prevented. SOLUTION: In the case of storing a mail received by an electronic mail transmission reception section 12 is stored in an electronic mail buffer 16, the attribute information corresponding to the mail is generated and stored in an attribute information buffer 17. When an electronic mail registration section 15 gives the mail to the database system, the buffer management section 17 updates the attribute information to be database registered information. When a user interface section 14 receives a registration command of the mail to the database from the user, a control section 11 references the attribute information and informs it for warning to the user when the information denotes database registered information. Thus, unintended mail duplicate registration due to carelessness of the user is prevented. |
