JIG FOR MAGNETIC RECORDER AND MAGNETIC RECORDER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to record and reproduce in high packing density even in the case of temperature change by using low thermal expansion alloy at least for the part of a clamp jig to prevent or reduce the warp of a magnetic recording medium due to the temperature change. SOLUTION: The magnetic recorder comprises a magnetic recording medium 1 using a nonmagnetic disk-like board, a magnetic head 2, a spindle motor 3, and a clamp jig for clamping the medium at the motor 3. The jig has a spindle hub 6, a screw 7 and a spacer ring 5 for clamping a plurality of the media. At least the part of the jig is formed of low thermal expansion alloy having thermal expansion coefficient of 1×10<-6> to 5×10<-6> /K.
