A humidity-proof chilled compartment of a refrigerator comprises a cold air outlet(22), independently fixed a chilled compartment cover(23), an anti-germ shelf(24) and a chilled compartment door(25). To reduce the chilled compartment the anti-germ shelf is inserted in grooves(27,27) as their bottoms(28) faces upward. Then the height(H1) of a storage space(26) is shortened. Conversely, the anti-germ shelf is inserted as its bottom(29) faces downward and the height of the storage space is expanded.
