<p>Impregnating parts under vacuum, partic. with curable prods., esp. for impregnating ignition coils with a synthetic resin consists:- (a) introducing the parts into an impregnation chamber (10), (b) drawing a vacuum by connecting the chamber to an accumulator (18) which is already under vacuum, (c) close the interconnection leaving the chamber under vacuum, (d) impregnate the part, (e) allow air into the chamber (10). The accumulator volume is larger than that of the chamber, pref. more than 50 times as large.</p> |
