The composition panel for registration boards has a thick support plate and a thin plate with its edge held in the thicker board. The registration characters are formed on the thin plate and the display has the characters formed on plates (1) with complementary matrices applied to a conventional compositing frame on each side of the plate to be printed. One plate at least has a relief image (9) of a thickness at least equal to that of the thicker plate. The double plain panels have a thickness having a recess (11) on its lower face complementary to the relief on the character plate.
