The bed-settee is retracted vertically into a fixed cupboard (1). A rigid frame (2) pivots, by its lower part, round a horizontal axle (A-A) near the base of the cupboard between a vertical position and a horizontal position. Three supports (4-6) each have a quadrangular frame (7) and a cushion (8). The frames are fixed to the rigid frame and can rock round horizontal axles (A1-A1,A2-A2) parallel to the axle in the cupboard. They are immobilized by a handle joined to a pinion engaging on two superposed racks on the ends of two locking bars.
