The chair is made from card and has a column (10) whose peripheral wall (11) joins a base (12) to the seat (13). The seat is polygonal and its sides (131-135) are angularly staggered round the axis of the column (I-I) with respect to the sides of the polygonal base. The peripheral wall is formed from triangles, defined by fold lines, whose tips are joined alternately to the seat and the base. The base is closed by flaps, joined to the base of the triangles, that are folded inwards and overlap.
