<p>Uninterrupted electric power supply system comprised of a diesel engine (2), one or a plurality of inertia flywheels (6), electronic control means (5), a synchronous machine (1) comprised of a synchronous motor and one or a plurality of alternators which supply galvanically independent circuits, a compressed air turbine (3) reacting in systems of more than 800 kVA and acting in minor systems, and air accumulation and release means (4) comprised of a reversible hydraulic oil pump, two tanks and various anti-return valves. If pertubartions occur in the network (10) and the speed of the alternator decreases, an electric valve releases compressed air in order to propel the turbine (3), thereby stabilizing the speed of the alternator. If the pertubation remains, the diesel engine (2) is started and, once it has reached the synchronous speed, if is coupled to the alternator, stopping the turbine and activating the air recharche. If, additionally, there is an overload, the turbine operates with the diesel engine in order to supply temporarily up to 200 % of the nominal load, The disclosed system may be installed in parallel with other similar systems by using independent controls. <IMAGE></p> |
