Disclosed is an electrolytic treatment apparatus which is of a concentric tube cell design. The cell can have finned tubes. The concentric tube cell is designed for easy tube removal using an insertable sleeve (114) adapted for holding the tubes (106, 108). A further improvement to the electrolytic apparatus is provided by a system to maintain a fixed electrode gap and by a system which produces a variable electrode gap. Also disclosed is a pulsed DC power supply and a multiple DC power supply with PLC control for the electrolytic apparatus. |
