<p>A dispensing apparatus for web-shaped material, such as toilet paper, wound into a roll around a hollow core provided with supporting journals, which apparatus can receive at least two rolls, one in a dispensing position and at least one in a storing position, and comprises a cover part (3) and a frame part (2) with two opposite guideways (11, 12) for the supporting journals (14) and extending from a roll input opening to a dispensing opening where the guideways end in bearing faces (15, 17) for the supporting journals, while a cam plate (20) keeps the store roll out of contact with the roll in the dispensing position and which, upon removal of a hollow core from the dispensing position, releases the store roll through a rotation as a result of a displacement of an elongated member (16) having, adjacent one end thereof, a bearing face for a supporting journal. At a distance above the first store roll, the cam plate can bear a second store roll.</p> |
