Sector pulse generation method for hard disc memory system

The method involves using a circuit for the generation of sector pulses in a hard disc system. The read pulses are generated by the circuit, and are synchronised with each byte of data generated. The byte clock pulses are used to define a generated clock pulse sequence with intervals corresponding to the servo zone. The generated pulses are counted and are compared to a stored value that defines the disc sector length. A sector pulse is generated when the two values agree.
