METHOD FOR TEACHING MOVEMENTS AND DEVICE FOR REALISING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a method for teaching movements to patients suffering from disorders of the organism motor functions and to children suffering from a handicap in psychomotor development. This method comprises mechanically forcing a patient (1) to reproduce in one or more parts of the body the cycles of natural movements performed by a healthy person, said movements being transmitted from the corresponding parts of the instructor's (2) body through a mechanical link. This invention also relates to a device for teaching movements to patients suffering from disorders of the motor functions. This device comprises a forced transmission mechanism which transmits movements to one or more parts of the patient's (1) body, said mechanism being capable of transmitting constraint movements from one or more corresponding parts of a healthy instructor's (2) body. Furthermore, this invention relates to different embodiments of said device according to the patient's (1) type of disorder and to the part of the body to be trained.
