A sheet material the protective layer of which is made of a thermal reactant of a thermo- and active energy line-setting resin composition containing as effective components a polymer having a (meth)acrylic equivalent of 100-300 g/eq, a hydroxyl group value of 20-500 and a weight average molecular weight of 5,000-50,000, and multifunctional isocyanate. The protective layer provided on the surface of a molded product is cured by the irradiation with an active energy beam. Accordingly, a molded product having a high abrasion resistance and a high chemical resistance is obtained, and cracks do not occur in curved surface portions thereof. Since the protective layer is semi-cured thermally during the production of the sheet material, a large apparatus for applying an active energy beam to the protective layer is unnecessary, and the manufacturing cost decreases.
