The drive shaft is the horizontally placed motor shaft(5) and the chopping mechanism(2) is located on one side(8) of it and the pulping mechanism(3) is located on the other side(9). A speed reducing gear(10) is located between the pulping mechanism and the motor shaft. The pulping mechanism is a cutter roller(31) and is supported in a bearing(33) fixed in the housing on the end face side furthest away from the gear.
