<p>A machine for producing box containers (100), obtained from blanks (10) of synthetic resin, comprises conveying means (30, 40, 50), which transport the blanks (10) from a withdrawing station (Z) to a final forming station (90) through at least one intermediate station (S1). Heating means (60), working in the intermediate station (S1), raise the temperature of the outer flaps (11c) of each blank (10) and corresponding areas of the heads (7) of said blank (10) to a predetermined value. Handling means (46), located in the intermediate station (S1), fold said flaps (11c) and draw them close to said corresponding areas of the heads (7), so as to form tubular elements (20) for stiffening the box container (100). Presser means (70) press the outer flaps (11c), that touch the corresponding areas of the heads (7), so as to join them by heat-welding.</p> |
