The shutter which has a box (5) and wind-up shaft (4) for the shutter slats (2,3) has a stop (15) comprising means (18) for fixing on the lower edge of the end slat (3) and positioning means which interact with the lower edge of this end slat so as to make the stop rotationally secure relative to same.The fixing means are formed by a fixing screw passing through an opening in the stop to engage in the end slat. The end slat has in its side ends inserts of plastics or similar into which the fixing screw engages. The positioning means are formed by a groove whose width corresponds to the thickness of the end slat in the lower edge area
