Door-locking system for use in vehicle door with catch

The door locking system has a catch (1), provided selectively in a first setting in which door to be opened is positioned opposite bodywork element, in a second setting with the door half closed and a third setting with the door in a fully closed condition. A latch (8) maintains any of the three settings, which is held by the catch. An electric motor (M) is operated whilst the half closed condition of the door is detected. A working lever (20) is moved by the motor and the catch is brought from the second to the third setting. A catch switch (30) is switched on and off according to the movement of the latch. A latch switch (25) is switched off from the on position, and the catch switch is switched on, in order to indicate the second setting during the operation. With which the catch (1) moves from the first setting in the second setting, so that the half closed condition of the door is determined, and the motor rotates in the door closing direction. So that the motor when in the event of stopping, the latch switch (25) is switched off from the on position and the catch switch is switch on, in order to indicate the third setting during the operation, with which the catch is moved from the second setting in to the third setting.
