The single ended rasp has a working area (D) which is curved through 180 degrees. The working end (E) is oval shaped with a sharp ground surface having a width of 6.5mm. A hollow stainless steel handle is brazed onto the working area to form an air and water tight seal. The handle is formed to have eight edges and on its upper and lower sides has grip depressions (B,C) for the user's fingers. The working area is 45mm long.
