The method involves wrapping sweets (2) in separate e.g. plastics (1). Equal quantities are packed in pointed bags (3). The bags (3) are provided with a hinged lid (4) which have a closure lip (5) and are secured in slot (5a). The bags are preferably manufactured from cardboard, paper or plastics.
