<p>Apparatus (50) for synthesising chemical compounds includes a number of reaction vessels (51). The reaction vessels (51) hold a number of microreactors (20). The vessels each have an inlet (90) and an outlet (63). The inlet (90) permits fluid to enter the vessel (51) and the outlet (63) permits fluid to exit the vessel (51). The vessel (51) is adapted to hold the microreactors (20) between the inlet (90) and the outlet (63), and the inlet (90) and the outlet (63) are coupled to a pumping device (52) for pumping fluid through the vessel (51) from the inlet (90) to the outlet (63).</p> |
