Refuse bin with internal sub-division for pre-sorted refuse

The bin (1) has internal sub-divisions which are covered by a lid (7) consisting of two folding sections (7.1,7.2) each of which can be open and shut individually about their own axis (6,8). Both axes are parallel to each other. Each part of the lid is held on hinges (8.1,8.2) and has a closure holding the lid closed as required when the bin is inverted for emptying into the refuse collection vehicle.
