Swing-lid filter with box-like inlet distributor

The swing-lid filter has a box-like inlet distributor, which has an inlet distributor floor (27), through which flotation liquid is carried onto the filter belt. The box-like inlet distributor (12) has a number of slotted outlet holes (13) in the inlet distributor floor (27) which are cut out transversely w.r.t. the direction of flow of the liquid and placed in series. Guide plates (19, 20), which are parallel to the inlet distributor floor (27), are attached to the inlet distributor floor (27) under each outlet slot (13) by means of mounting plates (32,33). Of each pair of guide plates, one (19) is pointed by its mounting plate (32) in the direction of liquid flow over the distributor floor, and the other (20) against it. Adjacent guide plates are separated by a partition wall (14).
