The various contacts (14, 15, 16) for connection to an airbag control apparatus (9) are also for sensors provided for the condition recognition of the seat. The contacts are provided for a bush (13) fixed to the vehicle and for an insert component (12) connected to the seat. In the closed position the insert component is locked with the bush by the tab and is connected with a closure cylinder (4), which is only operable with the vehicle ignition key (6). The insert component is provided with a resistance, which when it is inserted and locked operates two contacts (14) connected with the airbag control apparatus (9), which serve to provide recognition to the control apparatus as to whether the seat is installed or not.
