This linear motion guide unit is provided with an automatic regulating capability, and, moreover, attains a highly rigid support structure. A movable block (4) is formed so as to have an L-shaped cross section, and rows of balls (B1-B4) are rollably inserted between an upper surface of a track rail (1) and a horizontal portion (2) of the movable block (4) and between a side surface of the track rail (1) and a downwardly extending portion (3) of the block (4). Each of ball rolling grooves are formed to a cross-sectionally arcuate shape and to a large depth, i.e., to a depth around 1/2-1/3 of the diameter of each ball.
