Boot lid for motor vehicle

The boot lid has a base position with the lock closed and a lifting position with the lock open where it can be lifted by hand. There is a control unit for the lock using a switch and/or a key. The lock (4) has a lock element (10) and an electric motor to move it. When the "lock closed" position is entered, the lid is pulled against the seal by the motor action on a rocker arm. There is a constructionally independent lifting device (5) with a motor with which the trunk lid can move into the lifting position when the lock is open.
