Disclosed are 4,4'-methylene-bis(3-chloro-2,6- dialkylphenyl-isocyanates) of general formula (I), wherein R1 is C1-6 alkyl and R2 is chlorine or C1-6 alkyl. Said compounds are polyisocyanates for production of polyurethane systems with high chemical stability and thermal stability.
