PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce machining cost of a pilot carrier and improve assembling ability and to improve workability by forming the sheet surface of a valve chamber on a surface. SOLUTION: A damper 6 comprises a pilot valve 35 to escape a pressure in an auxiliary oil chamber 31 to a main oil chamber 7b or 7a on the low pressure side through a pilot passage 36 when a pressure in an auxiliary chamber 31, to which a pressure in a main oil chamber 7a or 7b on the high pressure side is guided, exceeds a set pressure by a set pressure varying means 44; and a main valve 18 to open and close a main oil passage 19 to intercommunicate two main oil chambers by a differential pressure between a pressure in the auxiliary oil chamber 31 and a pressure in a main oil chamber on the high pressure chamber. In this case, a housing 17 in which a main valve 18 is disposed and a pilot carrier 16 in which the pilot valve 35 is disposed are provided. The pilot passage 36 is branched from passages 16f and 16k, formed in a pilot carrier 16 and communicated with a spot situated downstream from the pilot valve 35, in such a manner to extend in parallel to a pilot valve movement shaft, and a check valve 37 is disposed in first and second vertical holes 16g and 16p communicated with the main oil chamber on the low pressure side. |
