PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate film for a metal membrane type high density magnetic resin medium generating no thermoplastic fatigue phenomenon accompanied by the increase of a vapor deposition speed in a process providing a metal membrane layer, sufficiently large in the contact area with a cooling drum, good in running properties and not generating the lowering of output caused by the shape transfer to a magnetic surface. SOLUTION: This biaxially oriented polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate film for a metal membrane type high density magnetic resin medium is a biaxially oriented laminated film having laminated constitution consisting of at least two or more layers composed of polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate and characterized by that the ratio SRz/SRa of the surface roughness parameters of both surfaces thereof is 1-below 15. |
