PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic adjusting device for plunger margin of a hydraulic elevator in which a plunger margin can be automatically adjusted, manual adjustment performed by an operator is not required, a superior efficiency and a high reliability in operation are attained. SOLUTION: A positional displacement of a plunger when a car is stopped at the upper-most floor is detected by a magnetic sensor 8. A motor 13 for moving vertically an adjustment plate supporting a fixed end of a main rope 2 in response to a detected positional displacement amount is operated under a control of a control device 15 so as to accommodate for a positional displacement of the plunger and this is confirmed again by the magnetic sensor 8 and always keep a plunger margin constant. |
