PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide weight reduction for a hydraulic pressure booster positively and improve reliability of liquid-tightness. SOLUTION: A poppet shaped valve element 13 is seated on the first valve seat 14a, and the second valve seat 17b is separated from the valve element 13 when the control valve 9 of a brake booster is in an inoperative condition. Therefore, a power house 8 is disconnected from a supply passage 12 which is communicated with an accumulator at the time of non-operation and is communicated with a reservoir through a clearance between the valve element 13 and the second valve seat 17b and a discharging passage 16. When the brake booster 1 works, a cylindrical member 17 moves to the left, the second valve seat 17b is seated on the valve element 13, and the valve element 13 is separated from the first valve seat 14a. Therefore, the power house 8 is shut down from the reservoir at the time of operation and is communicated with the accumulator through a clearance between the valve element 13 and the first valve seat 14a and the supply passage 12. |
