PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold a substrate with high precision by improving flovability, a transferring property and a mold release property at the time of molding the substrate and to realize an optical recording medium excellent in recording and reproducing characteristics by using the substrate. SOLUTION: In a stamper 1 for forming a substrate recording surface of the optical recording medium having projected parts 2 for forming grooves and/or pits for recording signals on the substrate, a crossing part between a slope 3 and a top face 4 and/or a crossing part between the slope 3 and a bottom face 6 of the projected parts 2 of the stamper 1 are formed to be curved surfaces 5, 7 having radius of curvature equivalent to 1 to 5 times the height H of the projected parts 2. |
