PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output information inputted to a perforated sheet, in an easy-to-see form without any omission by discriminating whether a fed recording medium is provided with binding perforations, that is, the perforated sheet or not and making an adjustment for keeping the output area of outputted image information out of the binding perforations. SOLUTION: The presence of the binding perforations in the recording medium carried with a change in the output of the detection of a preregister sensor 18 detecting the passage state of the recording medium carried to an image forming part is detected in such a manner that a control program stored in a ROM 105c is executed by the CPU 105a of an engine controller 105. When the CPU 105a detects that the fed recording medium is the perforated sheet, from the change in the output of the preregister sensor 18, the timing of writing the image information outputted from a video controller 103 is adjusted by the engine controller 105 and the binding perforations of a three-perforation sheet are avoided as much as possible to output an image. |
