PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition having excellent frictional and wear characteristics and suitable for a low-noise gear by blending and kneading a polyacetal resin with a specified modified polyolefin copolymer and a lubricant comprising, e.g. a silicone. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. polyacetal resin (A) with 0.5-30 pts.wt. specified modified polyolefin copolymer (B) and 0.5-10 pts.wt. lubricant (C) comprising a silicone, anα-olefin oligomer, a paraffin or substituted diphenyl ether and melt kneading the blend. The component B comprises a copolymer or graft copolymer consisting of 45-99wt.% olefin units, 0.5-50wt.% (meth)acrylic acid (ester) units and 0.1-10wt.% unsaturated carboxylic acid (anhydride) or its derivative units. The substituted diphenyl ether used as component C comprises one represented by the formula (wherein R<1> is a 12C or higher alkyl, ester or acyl at the 2- to 6or 2'- to 6'- position; and p and q are each 0 to 5 except for the case where both of them are 0 at the same time).
