PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage of a panel caused by the temp. difference between the temp. of a central part and the temp. of a peripheral part by adjusting the whole of a display panel to roughly uniform temp. while heating the peripheral part of the panel in the light emitting display operation of an electronic display panel. SOLUTION: Peripheral temp. sensors 2 as a peripheral temp. measuring part are respectively fitted in respective resistive elements for generation of heat 1 and besides, a central temp. sensor 3 as a central temp. measuring part is fitted in the center of the rear side of the panel. A peripheral temp. signal SA indicating the temp. of the peripheral part of the panel is transmitted from the peripheral temp. sensors 2 fitted every resistive element for generation of heat 1 to a comparator and besides, a central temp. signal SB indicating the temp. of the central part of the panel is also transmitted from the central temp. sensor 3 to the comparator. The comparator outputs a difference signal ΔS equivalent to the difference between temp. signals SA, SB to a voltage adjusting device, which supplies electric power having an amount proportional to the difference signal ΔS. Thus, the peripheral part is heated and the temp. difference between the temp. of the peripheral part and the temp. of the central part is reduced. |
