<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To multiplex a cell in accordance with traffic quantity by permitting a counter to compare the number of cells so as to select a buffer where the number of the cells are stored is selected, to count the number of the cells to be outputted to the buffer, to select the buffer where a value reaches a max. permission value by which the buffer is not selected and to read the cell. SOLUTION: A buffet parat 10 stores the cells received through an input port in respectively corresponding cell buffers. A first control part 20 counts write clocks which are supplied to the respective buffets BF1-BFn and selects the buffer where the largest quantity of cells are stored and the second control part 30 counts read clocks which are supplied to the respective buffers BF1-BFn and selects the buffet with the max. unselected permission value. The third control part 40 multiplexes the cell stored in the buffet having priority order in the buffer part 10 in accordance with a selecting signal which is outputted from the first and second control parts 20 and 30 so as to output it.</p> |
