PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a detachable paper feeding guide from being lost and contrive to miniaturize by a method wherein a paper feeding guide is abutted against a slider when a printer is out of use so as to slide the slider in order to house the slider in a main body and the slider is pulled out when the printer is in use so as to mount the slider to a paper inserting port. SOLUTION: When a printer is out of use, a lock releasing lever 20 is pushed into the direction toward a printer main body so as to abut the tip of the lever against a lower door 13 in order to pivot the lower door 13 towar the inside of the main body, resulting in lowering a paper feeding guide 10 and housing the slider 16 in a slider housing part 17c. When the printer is in use, the slider 16 housed in the slider housing part 17c at the bottom part of the printer is pushed in deeper and, in response to the pushing in, the slider comes to be pushed out a little. The resultant slider 16 is pulled out so as to lift the paper feeding guide 10 by hand in order to insert the guide within the printer 8 main body through the pushing of the doors 12 and 13 at the paper inserting port by the tip of the guide. When the printer is out of use, the occupied space of the printer is small and the miniaturization of the printer is contrived and there is no possibility of the loss of the paper feeding guide 10. |
