<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the device which can access an existent mail server from an arbitrary telephone set. SOLUTION: This device 10 is equipped with a conversion table 17 in which a second dial number and a second password consisting of combinations of numbers, etc., that can be inputted on a telephone set 30 are registered corresponding to a mail address and a password assigned to each user on the mail server 40. A user calls the device 10 through the telephone set 30 and inputs a second dial number and a second password by using the telephone set 30. The device 10 acquires the mail address and password corresponding to the second dial number and second password from the conversion table 17 and logs in the server 30 to obtain a mail put in the corresponding mailbox, convert and reproduce it into a speech, and send it out to the telephone set 30.</p> |
