<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a GIS(gas-insulated switchgear) and besides, improve the operation characteristics. SOLUTION: A breaker GCB with its arc-extinguishing chamber 6 arranged horizontally is incorporated into a breaker tank 1, and current transformers CT1 and CT2 and earth breakers ES1 and ES2 are arranged above and below it. The length of the GIS can be shortened by arranging each apparatus above and below in the breaker tank. Bus tanks 2 and 3 which have accommodated buses BUS1 and BUS2 and disconnecting switches DS1 and DS2 are arranged above and below on one flank of the breaker tank. A box 9 which has accommodated the mechanism part 7 of the breaker, an operation apparatus 8, a monitor panel, etc., is arranged at the other flank of the breaker tank. Since it follows that the mechanism part and the monitor panel are arranged on the front of the GIS, the operation characteristics improves.</p> |
